TG Pro
Version: 2.56
Developer: Tunabelly Software
- English
Compatibility: macOS 10.9 or later
File size: 12 MB
Quickly view CPU, GPU, logic board or hard drive temperatures, check battery health and the other hardware diagnostics. If it's getting hot, manually boost the fan speeds, or allow TG Pro to do it automatically to help keep the Mac cool and running fast. Get local or email notifications for temperature events along with full logging for further analysis.
It's designed with security in mind. TG Pro is notarized by Apple and uses the Hardened Runtime. It also has a separate secure service for fan control, only HTTPS/SSL connections and built-in support for the Internet Access Policy (when using Little Snitch).
TG Pro supports all Macs from 2008 up to the 2020 models, with specific support for multiple models including the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 15-inch MacBook Pro, 16-inch MacBook Pro, iMac Pro, Mac Pro, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air and Mac mini.
Mac Health
It's all available in TG Pro. In one window, view all internal temperatures, fans and hardware diagnostics.
It's the best way to easily check that all vital components inside your Mac are working properly. TG Pro will even tell you if the Mac shutdown because it overheated, or if the battery needs servicing.
Always On
TG Pro runs unobtrusively in the background using minimal resources.
Use the menubar icon to quickly view all internal temperatures and access fan controls.
Auto Fan Control
Use Auto Boost rules to decide how the fans should be boosted based on temperatures from any sensor or highest CPU.
These can even be used to completely override the system control of the fans for a custom fan curve. The perfect way to fix an iMac where the fans go full speed after a HD replacement.
Instant Cooling
Wish the fans kicked in sooner? Use Manual mode to instantly boost them to maximum speed to cool down your Mac right away.
Stay Informed
Get informed about thermal and diagnostic events via the macOS Notification Center, emails or a CSV log file.
Mojave & Catalina
Dark or light mode, it doesn't mater - TG Pro looks great in both on either macOS Mojave 10.14 or Catalina 10.15.
In addition, on Catalina it is Notarized by Apple, and uses the Hardened Runtime to ensure it's the original from Tunabelly Software and hasn't been tampered with.

New
• Added support for the M1 iMac (24-inch, 2021).
• Added preliminary support for eGPU and Mac Pro video cards. It will now show the temperatures for supported cards as well as the active GPU. See Apple's support page for a list of supported eGPU hardware.
• Added named fans for the Mac Pro (2019).
• Added better support for the MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012).
• Added three new temperature sensors for the M1 Macs.
• Widened the column for the sensor names so there's a bit more space.
• Fan preferences tab is now hidden on Macs without a fan.
• Slightly tweaked the shape of the app icon to better match the macOS Big Sur style.
• Using a darker style for the on toggle style of the link fans button.
Fixed
• Issue where the reinstall fan helper button would always appear in the fan preferences. Now it only appears if it's not installed or there's a problem connecting to it.
• Issue where it wouldn't always prompt to update the fan helper app if it was out-of-date.
• Issue where some of the memory temperature sensors were missing for the Mac Pro (Early 2008).
